On September 7, 2012, the parent group, Friends of Niu Valley, watched with pride as the campus of Niu Valley Middle School overflowed with families who were attending the 2nd Annual Lancer Fam Jam!

Families feasted on dishes from some of Honolulu’s most popular Food Trucks and vendors - Bobalicious, Crawfish R Us, Fairycakes, Five-O Ribs, Hawaii’s Fried Musubi, Kiawe Pizza, Kona Ice, Local Stop, OnoPops, and Shogunai Tacos.

Inside the cafeteria, the crowd was delighted with the talents of hosts Kutmaster Spaz & Jimmy da Geek, Niu Valley Middle School's Percussion Ensemble, the Wreck, JK2, Aidan James, and dance performers 808 Breakers.

This popular family event, a creation of Niu Valley Middle School parent Kutmaster Spaz, capped off , a two-week fundraising campaign in which the NVMS 'ohana helped the Friends of Niu Valley raise $31,196! We are deeply grateful for the support from the community and the school 'ohana.
